Relax Dog Training Classes
– part of the Canine Flow dog training techniques.
Classes include Meditation Techniques, Professional Canine Hypnotherapy and occasionally further Canine Flow training techniques.

These are unique new dog training classes aimed at helping your dog act and feel calmer, happier and more balanced.
We believe the time has come to introduce new heart-focused techniques to dog training and care.

Traditionally dog behaviour and training has focused mostly on a dog’s mental and physical energies. Influencing those energies to flow and be balanced through commands, games, diet and appropriate exercise or activities.
We believe there is room for a new third energy to be considered as well, the dog’s emotional energy. The dog ability to live life by sensing what is around them and acting upon that feedback in order to always feel safe.

An emotion is felt; feelings and emotions are one in the same. With the raise in the vibration of planet, the rise in stress levels across the globe, a lack of contact with the earth, the increase in wifi, mobile phones, noise pollution, and other un-natural frequencies our dogs are finding reading or sensing their world increasingly difficult. They are becoming more and more sensitive and more reactive to their feelings. Feelings are becoming the root of all actions of behaviour as the dog tries and tries to sense and determine the energies of those around them.

By influencing the energy of those feelings we can transform a dog’s behaviour, increase their ability to learn and release any stuck emotional energies, bringing them into balance and allowing for emotional Flow once again.

You can have a calmer, happier dog by increasing the time they spend at Peace and by learning great ways to allow them to ground and express their emotions, in dog-like ways.

Your dog has the biggest heart per body mass of any animal.
They really do ‘know’ how you feel and what is going on around them, reading the frequencies with their huge hearts, their inner ear magnetite and their vno organ – constantly.
Lets provide them with the space to sense, the opportunity to ground and the peace to nourish.

Relax Dog Classes will give you the space to practice being at Peace, release fears and anxieties and empower you to use your own thoughts to power up visualisations of preferred behaviours. Literally creating the dog you want!

What is a Canine Flow Dog Relax Class?

Vanessa is a Professional Canine Hypnotherapist and Canine Flow Master Practitioner who runs Canine Flow Dog Relax Classes throughout the year. 

They take place via zoom.  This is perfect because we are not restricted by location and we can concentrate and settle in a familiar environment without the worry of how our dogs are going to be with other dogs or how other dogs may be with our dog.  It also means that if you can’t make a class you can catch up on replay.

The classes are held over a period of 6-8 weeks and are between 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes in length.

We always start with a check in and welcome.   This gives us time to settle and find out how things are with each other and our dogs.

After that we have a presentation linked to the teachings of Canine Flow and the science behind what our dogs do.

Then is it time to be at peace, with a guided meditation for the humans and Professional Canine Hypnotherapy for our dogs.

What do I need?

A quiet space, with no interruptions.  Something comfortable for you to sit on, your dog also needs something comfortable to relax on.  It’s a good idea if your dog is not used to being settle to have something for them to chew on so they can ground their energy.

You also need an open mind, we work with intention and without judgement.

I just want to let you know that I have really enjoyed the Dog Relax Course. Having owned dogs for my lifetime some of the things I do, I do from experience without actually knowing why. It is has been really good to have some understanding behind it. There has been plenty on the course that has made me stop and think including dogs on leads that meet others on their walks. We took Willow to the vet the other day for her kennel cough nasal spray. Due to Covid we had to stay outside while the vet took her inside to the surgery. Willow looked at me as much as to say is it alright to go with this stranger. Rather than being anxious about it, I simply told her to go ahead and with that she went and was very well behaved while with the vet. However, she made it very clear that she was delighted to be back with me. 

Thinking about the relaxation and meditation. During these sessions Willow is usually lying in front of the fire but she begins to stretch her legs and groans before relaxing again and going back to sleep. I am certainly taking much more notice of how she responds to things.” (Mrs T. Sleaford)
